NEW YORK CITY – March 29, 2016 – The Conference Board’s Consumer Confidence Index improved in March after falling a bit in February. The Index now stands at 96.2 – up 2.2 points from 94.0 in February.

The Present Situation Index declined moderately from 115.0 to 113.5, while the Expectations Index that gauges attitudes about the short-term future increased from 79.9 to 84.7 in March. …continue
