WASHINGTON – Nov. 30, 2016 – Pending home sales were almost flat in October, though they still squeaked out a meager gain for the second consecutive month, according to the National Association of Realtors® (NAR).

NAR’s Pending Home Sales Index (PHSI), a forward-looking indicator based on contract signings, inched up 0.1 percent to 110.0 in October from a slight downward revision of 109.9 in September. ORLANDO, Fla. – Nov. 3, 2016 – Florida’s housing market reported rising median prices, more new listings and fewer days to a sales contract during the third quarter of 2016, according to the latest housing data released by Florida Realtors®. Closed sales of single-family homes statewide totaled 71,857 in 3Q 2016, almost the same level (down 0.4 percent) as during 3Q 2015. …continue

IRVINE, Calif. – Oct. 13, 2016 – According to ATTOM Data Solutions, the foreclosure crisis is over.

ATTOM released its September and Q3 2016 U.S. Foreclosure Market Report, which includes default notices, scheduled auctions or bank repossessions. In September, foreclosures dropped 13 percent month-to-month and 24 percent year-to-year to hit their lowest level in over a decade – since December 2005. …continue
